It works!

This is my second child, and I didn't produce well for the first one, so I'd pretty much resigned myself to minimal milk production and the theory that anything was better than nothing. I was pumping at work three times a day and taking home about 9 ounces of milk total (and at that, it's more than I'd managed with the first child) when I caught a cold, and my production started to dwindle again, even though I wasn't taking any drugs. Frustrated but unwilling to wean my baby at only 2 months old, I started taking this tea in the hope that it would at least sustain my current level of production. Because it's a little on the expensive side (I was buying it locally at the full retail price) I only drank 3 cups a day. (It recommends 3-5.)
A week later, with my cold only just starting to clear up, I was taking home almost 12 ounces of milk. Another week and a half later, I'm catching another cold (the downside of having 2 kids in daycare...) but I'm taking home a solid 14-15 ounces of milk every day. This tea is the ONLY THING I have done differently -- no other supplements or dietary changes, no changes in feeding or pumping schedules -- so I know for sure it's the tea that's doing it!
I don't know where its effectiveness will level out, or if my production will continue to stay elevated if I stop drinking the tea, but at this point, I'm just thrilled with the short term results! |

I am into non-medicinal care as much as possible. I don't do well with all sorts of prescribed medicines; last go around caused my immune system to crash and I was a long time in rebuilding it. When you find something that works so well with simple herbs you are delighted. Gypsy Cold Care isn't bad tasting. Sort of a twiggy with a strong mint-type flavour. Only who cares what it takes like! This stuff works for me. At the first hint of a cold or sore throat, I brew a pot and drink it. Generally all the cold symptoms just fade away in just a few hours. I have recommended it to dozens of friends and it works well for them, too.
So if you are looking for all natural alternatives, you might consider this the next time you feel a cold coming on. I keep it on hand all winter. |
Suprisingly great for my severe PMS and cramps

| This tea is wonderful. I was skeptical that it was going to help my cramps but I decided to try it. I knew the tea by itself is good for you and it's organic so I thought--why not? Because of this tea, this month is the second time I have not been popping Ibuprofen like candy. I drank this tea in the morning (double dose..2 bags in 1 cup) and 1 dose 3 hours later. I was at church so I didn't take the tea with me and the cramps were starting to bother me again. When I got home, I drank the tea and after 30 minutes, completely pain-free. I read raspberry leaf is good for the uterus..Anyway, it helped me. The tea has to steep for 10-15 minutes covered. Honestly a pleasant surprise. Everyone was telling me to take birth control pills to lessen severe cramps but I refuse to because of the serious side effects. Can't go wrong with natural. |
Works great during my pregnancy

| During my pregnancy, I read that raspberry leaf tea can help strengthen the uterus for labor. I started drinking this tea 3 times a day on my 39th week. Before I went into the hospital for a cervadil and induction, I used 2 tea bags and infused it for 30 minutes. I brought some tea bags with me to drink during my stay at the hospital. This is my 2nd pregnancy and this time was more positive and less tramatic for me. I only had to push my son out 3 times before he came out on his own. The contractions were strong enough to push him out without any help from me. I certainly believe this tea helped my labor to be shorter and easier for me. I felt better and stronger for the last 2 weeks of my pregnancy than the whole 9 months. I also like the smell and taste of this tea. I continued to drink this tea for my recovery from giving birth. This tea has become my favorite drink now. I definitely recommend drinking this tea during the last few weeks (starting 34 weeks) of pregnancy. |

| This tea is amazingly effective. If you have a cold and want to breathe, get some. Hard to find in local grocery stores. |
